The enquiry:
The clients, a young couple, bought a town house of 100 years old. They wanted to keep the original architecture but to create open spaces.
The solution:
I used both floors of the house to create two open spaces: the first floor include kitchen, lounge, dining area and bathroom, the second floor a huge ensuite bedroom with dressing room and an office. I have kept the main architectural elements of the house as stones in part of the walls or wood beams for example. To create a modern home with its own personality I have mixed old and contemporan furniture, finishing and materials.
